Für das Bearbeiten von Audio Dateien möchte ich 2 Programme vorstellen. Zum einen ist dies Audacity der Open Source Gemeinde &#8220;Sourceforge&#8221;. Der Editor ist schon länger für den Mac Nutzer zu haben.
Frisch auf dem Universal Binary Eis hingegen ist Wavepad. Ursprünglich lief die Software lediglich unter Windows.

Bisher habe ich Posts über Windows relevante VST und VSTi Plugins geschrieben. Dies hat sich nun dank meinem MacBook Pro geändert. Apple&#8217;s OS X unterstützt keine Windows üblichen DLL Dateien. Zum besseren Support des Core Audio werden AU&#8217;s (Audio Unit) verwendet. Die Dateien der VST Effekte für den MAC enden auf *.VST.

<p>Alle Effekte und Instrumente welche hier vorgestellt werden sind auf jeden Fall <strong>OS X tauglich</strong>. Ob eine entsprechende Version für Windows vorliegt bitte beim Hersteller überprüfen.</p>
